RPLG Wins Second Daily Journal’s Best Boutique Firm Award

Renne Public Law Group (RPLG) has earned a second Top Boutique Law Firm designation by the Daily Journal, in recognition of the depth of the firm’s practice, current cases and growth. The Daily Journal’s 2024 selection honors 20 California-based firms that focus at least 90 percent of their resources on a specialty.

RPLG has expanded its influence statewide, continuing to advise and advocate for more than 100 cities, counties, public agencies and nonprofits while taking on impactful cases that shape public policy. The firm remains at the forefront of key legal battles, recently securing victories in Stone v. Alameda Public Health System and Prang v. Los Angeles County Assessment Appeals Board.

This firm-wide recognition complements the individual honors earned by RPLG team members, including Founding Partners Jon Holtzman and Art Hartinger and Of Counsel Geoff Spellberg, who received Northern California Super Lawyer awards, Partner Steve Cikes who received the Top Labor and Employment award, as well as Partner Ryan McGinley-Stempel and Senior Associate Imran Dar, who received Rising Star awards. Founding Partner Art Hartinger also received the 2023 Top Labor and Employment Lawyer Award.

“We are deeply honored to receive this award for a second time,” said Founding Partner Jon Holtzman. “This recognition reaffirms our commitment to the work we do for local public agencies. As we celebrate this achievement, we thank our dedicated team and remain focused on the future and staying ahead of the curve, continuing our mission of serving the public interest.”
