Renne Public Management Group (RPMG) is pleased to welcome Consultant Tracy Dunne, who will support the firm’s strategic planning and communications efforts. Working with organizations throughout the State to deliver results that reflect a community’s unique interests and desired outcomes, RPMG is a trusted partner for facilitating discussions, interviewing key stakeholders, and raising neglected questions or issues.
“Effective public engagement goes beyond just delivering information—it’s about building trust, fostering dialogue, and creating meaningful connections between agencies and the communities they serve,” said Dunne. “I’m excited to bring my experience to RPMG.”
Dunne’s career spans all levels of California government, including roles as director of communications for the State and Consumer Services Agency during the energy crisis under Governor Gray Davis, press secretary to the Assembly Majority Whip, and most recently, community relations manager and public information officer for the City of Pleasanton. In Pleasanton, she led the development of the city’s first master communications plan, launched a citywide quarterly newsletter and expanded social media engagement.
“Tracy’s expertise makes her an invaluable addition to our team,” said RPMG Executive Director Nelson Fialho. “Her deep understanding of community engagement will help our clients strengthen their public outreach and build lasting connections with the communities they serve.”
A graduate of California State University, Sacramento, with bachelor’s and master’s degrees, Dunne began her career teaching college English before transitioning into public sector communications. Her recent consulting work has focused on crisis management, direct public engagement and community organizing for city and county governments.
