Renne Public Law Group (RPLG) is pleased to announce three important promotions.

Partner Amy Ackerman, who joined RPLG in 2020, has been promoted to Head of Government Section.

During her three years at the firm, Amy has leveraged her extensive public agency experience in service as Town Attorney for the Town of Corte Madera and its subsidiary Sanitation District, General Counsel to San Francisco’s Downtown Business Improvement District, City Attorney of the City of Belvedere and General Counsel for the County Probation Consortium Partnering for Youth Realignment, a forum for California county probation officers to discuss youth treatment facilities in response to state realignment.

RPLG’s government practice provides public agencies with solution-oriented, reality-based legal advice that empowers policymakers to achieve goals while minimizing legal risk.

“We congratulate Amy on her promotion,” said Jon. “We are confident their new positions will only bolster her ability to deliver for our clients.”

RPLG practices throughout California, advising and advocating for public agencies, nonprofit entities, individuals and private entities in need of effective, responsive and creative legal solutions. RPLG’s lawyers provide the tools to strengthen and preserve public services, empower policy makers to further their objectives and collaborate with in-house staff to identify workable solutions to complex problems, develop strategy and implement solutions.
